Connery’s up and down

Good news and bad for the old Scottish smoothie yesterday. In an outbreak of 'Shaken not sirred' headlines, he's been passed over for a knighthood - due his SNP affiliations, or his views on slapping women, depending on who you believe. Better news for Sean came when he signed a huge deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment for future films he'll produce and star in. He's currently got two untitled flics in development with Sony; one about the Lockerbie bombing and the other revolving around his favourite pasttime - golf, with My Best Friend's Wedding writer/producer Ron Bass.
