As San Diego Comic-Con 2013 kicks off in earnest, here's a quick round-up of the posters and displays around town that have people talking this year. Marvel's Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier adorn lamp-posts all over town, while new TV shows like Dracula and The Blacklist have taken over the buses.
Elsewhere, Lego brought along huge displays for The Hobbit and Batman, while Scooby Doo's Mystery Van was parked outside one hotel for no reason that we could spot. It's a mystery! The Amazing Spider-Man 2 took over the Hard Rock Hotel and splashed Jamie Foxx's Electro across several stories, while round the back you could find Carrie and The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones.
Iinside the Convention centre top marks went to The Walking Dead for creating a mini-prison, complete with guard tower and undead menaces grasping at the crowd in search of brains, but there was also word, in display form, that that Predator news teased in fact related to a 3D re-release of the original film.
Check out the lot below, and come back all this week and weekend for the latest from the event.
