Reinvent the dark knight, says George

George Clooney may have been the most derided Batman of the franchise, but the experience clearly hasn't put him off the story itself. In the latest issue of Movieline magazine Clooney comes up with his own pitch for the next Batman script. George's version begins bleakly with Alfred's funeral, followed swiftly by Robin's death and then goes on to suggest that the entire Batman story is a figment of Bruce Wayne's imagination - forged from a mental collapse after his parents were killed.
