City of Angels replaced Titanic at the top of the box office charts over the weekend in the States. Nicolas Cage stars as an angel who must choose between immortality and human life when he falls in love with a heart surgeon played by Meg Ryan. Second was another girlie pic, The Object of My Affection, in which a pregnant Jennifer Aniston falls in love with a gay man.
