While the world would undoubtedly be a better place if there were more tall, blonde lovelies wandering around South Africa, this would require a somewhat illegal amount of meddling in the Equatorial gene pool. Still, Charlize Theron's countrymen won't be beaten when it comes to ways of showing their approval for the Oscar-winning star and it seems that a surprisingly large amount are choosing to name their children after her. Theron, who grew up on a farm outside Benoni, has recently discovered this and says, "Somebody told me that now every one out of three baby girls born in South Africa is being named Charlize." Now if only we can persuade Tooting to start calling their kids Empire...
