Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones were in Cannes to promote their latest venture, Entrapment. The film is not entered for competition and its screening was bafflingly billed as a homage to the great Scott, possibly to deflect attention from some of the less-than-enthusiastic reviews it's recently received. Zeta-Jones, who looks likely to take Liz Hurley's as head British show stopper, caused uproar when even press members applauded her appearance in a low cut gold spangly dress. After the usual "How does it feel not to be Bond anymore?" questions Connery was asked if he thought it was fair that older men always get to woo younger girls on screen, to which he replied, "Kissing Catherine is a dirty job but someone's got to do it". Yeah right Sean. Entrapment's Future Film entry.
