What’s Burt Reynolds’ problem?

We'd all heard the rumours of Burt's unhappiness over Boogie Nights. Now we've had them confirmed. Paul Thomas Anderson, director of the 'Porn Goodfellas', told the Sydney Herald that Reynolds didn't "really knew what kind of movie he was getting into". So displeased was the Specsaver's model that he fired his agent for getting him the part. Somehow we doubt the agent's career will have been harmed too much. Of the Burtster, Anderson now states, "Now he's got the awards to say it's OK. He's another director's challenge now." Interesting use of the word challenge...
