There's just no stopping Brokeback Mountain. Strong box office over the weekend has been bolstered by another two critics' awards for Ang Lee's shelf.
The Las Vegas and Dallas-Fort Worth critics' organisations both named the drama best picture of the year and Ang Lee best director.
In San Diego, critics picked Peter Jackson's King Kong as best of the year, while in Washington, Spielberg finally picked up a prize for Munich, which was their pick for year's best.
