The much vaunted Brit invasion of the Oscars is underway. The Best Actress award in particular is dominated by our belles. Kate Winslet was a dead cert, but she was joined by Judi Dench and Helena Bonham Carter and a real outsider Julie Christie. You'll hear no complains from us on the last choice.
