British Movie Theme Park Plan Shelved

Plans to build a multi-million-dollar movie theme park in England have been shelved after partners, Time Warner and United News & Media agreed that the project threatened to become too expensive. A spokesman for United News told the Sunday Times: "We will not be pursuing the project any further. We will continue working with Warner Bros on other projects." The paper also indicated that Time Warner lost interest in the $385 million British project after the Spanish government offered generous grants for a similar project on the outskirts of Madrid. Well there's a surprise.
