Bond Reveals Preferred Cola

In weird and wonderful news it appears that James Bond, when not sipping vintage champagne or quaffing vodka martinis (shaken not stirred), is downing Coca Cola. The people behind the superspy have teamed up with the drinks company and The White Stripes' Jack White on a new advert, which you can see here.

Jack White is of course collaborating with Alicia Keys on the theme tune for the new Bond film**, Quantum of Solace**, so his music here is a sort of spin on that theme. And in a neat bit of advertising synergy, the Coke Zero colours neatly match those associated with Bond opening credits and also the White Stripes' iconic Seven Nation Army video, so by using black, white and red here, and a series of stylised images of men and women running about, they hit all the relevant notes. Bet somebody was happy when they realised that.

As if that weren't enough, they're rebranding Coke Zero (ie Diet Coke for boys) Zero Zero Seven for the duration, just in case you weren't entirely sure of the connection.
