After being conspicuously absent for Toy Story 3, the Annie Potts-voiced Bo Peep will be a big part of Toy Story 4. And she's back with a new look in a typically brief teaser for the much-anticipated 'toon sequel.
While a chunk of the plot finds Woody (Tom Hanks) trying to teach newly arrived craft project Forky (Tony Hale) what it means to be a toy, the road trip plot will see the friendly cowboy taking a detour and bringing him face to face with Bo for the first time in years.
"Bo's taken control of her own destiny," says Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley. "While Woody was watching Andy grow up, Bo gathered dust until she took it upon herself to head out into the world. And when Woody shows up, they can’t believe that they’ve found each other again."
It's certainly a different look for Bo, who once sported a traditional white dress to go with her sheepherding crook. Toy Story 4 will be in UK cinemas on 21 June. Fingers crossed it can live up to the legacy of the original trilogy of films.
