Following its cinematic release in November last year, we now know when Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be arriving on Disney+'s servers. And we have less than a month to wait now.

Yes, the superhero sequel, which charts the nation of Wakanda dealing with the tragic loss of Prince T'Challa and the attempts by world powers to get their hands on valuable vibranium and also introduces MCU viewers to Namor (Tenoch Huerta) and his undersea kingdom of Talokan, will arrive on 1 February.

Oh, and — spoiler alert for anyone waiting to see the movie first on Disney+ – it also finds T'Challa's tech genius sister Shuri (Letitia Wright) inheriting the mantle and suit of the Black Panther.

The news of the film's release slot also comes on the heels of the streaming service announcing that more of its movies will now feature Enhanced IMAX, including (at least for those whose home entertainment sound systems are geared up for it) DTS sound. Which is nice.
