Sliding Doors star, John Lynch, has netted the plum role of George Best in a new film about the former Manchester United hero. But unlike the multi-talented Best, Lynch has only one good foot and former England international, Ray 'Butch' Wilkins has had to be drafted in to teach him to dribble and shoot with his dodgy left foot. Butch is set to choreograph all the movie's football scenes and will play a referee so he can coach during filming. Producers are to convert a rugby league ground into the Manchester's Old Trafford stadium where Best scored his greatest goals for the Red Devils. British actor Jerome Flynn has landed himself the part of Best's soccer pal, Bobby Charlton (that's Sir Bobby to you) in the film, which focuses on the football legend's triumphs and off-pitch traumas. Patsy Kensit is down to play his long-suffering wife Angie.
