Ben Elton Sells Baby

Comedian, actor, writer and now director - is there anything Ben Elton can't do? And now there's news that first-time director Elton has sold his directorial debut Maybe Baby to both Germany and Italy. The $6.5 million film, based on Elton's 1998 novel Inconceivable, stars Hugh Laurie and Joely Richardson as a couple who are trying to have a baby. The supporting cast includes Tom Hollander, Joanna Lumley and Adrian Lester - last seen in Primary Colours.
