Behold The Ghost Rider

First shot of the flaming hero (And a Narnia poster too)

It is perhaps appropriate on such a scorching June morning, that today sees the unveiling of the flaming vigilante Ghost Rider before our amazed (and somewhat hayfeverish) eyes. Chain-wielding, leather-sporting and skull-toting all at once, this is what we've been waiting for: the Spirit of Vengeance in all his supernatural glory. There's no denying it looks cool and, quite frankly, menacing as hell - which is appropriate given the hero's demonic origins. Obviously it's hard to fully appreciate without seeing the flames in motion but you get the picture. The down side for Nic Cage though, is that whenever the film's title character comes out to play, the star's phizog is summarily snuffed out by the emergence of Ghost Rider's flaming skull. Featuring both a lion and a witch (but sadly no wardrobe), you can catch a glimpse of the poster here.
