A group of travellers who set up camp near the set of Steven Spielberg's series Band of Brothers in Hatfield, Hertfordshire have been given notice to quit. They moved to the site, which is only a few hundred yards from the set, on Bank Holiday Monday. A crew member told the Daily Express, "we want them gone." The travellers, who number about 60, believe that they are being moved on unfairly so that they don't upset the Spielberg project , as they have previously camped on the same land without getting moved on. Spielberg has expressed an interest in developing a studio in the area, where he also filmed some of Saving Private Ryan. A spokesperson for Hatfield Town Council said, "We don't want any people looking to invest in the land to be put off by the travellers."
