Not bad for an Arsenal fan

New Line Cinema paid around $3m for the rights to Nick Hornby's unpublished novel Father Figure. Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Brad Epstein will produce. It's a romantic comedy about a single bloke who goes after unmarried woman with children as easy pickings. Then he meets a woman with a 12-year-old son and bonds with the boy, so it's serious commitment time. Sounds fun. Whatever happened to High Fidelity, though?
