Shiny-skinned heart-throb Antonio Banderas has signed up to play the role of Kemal Attaturk, the founder of modern Turkey, in a new biopic. He snapped up the part after reading the script, which was based on the 1964 biography of the national hero - who established the Republic of Turkey - written by top-flight British historian, Lord Kinross.
