Speciality arm National Geographic World Films is teaming up with Samuel Goldwyn Films and Columbia Pictures Asia to release Mountain Patrol: Kekexili.
That might sound like a PlayStation game, but it's actually based on true events surrounding the illegal poaching of Tibetan antelopes. Mountain Patrol follows a team of brave local volunteers who track down the hunters killing the endangered species for its valuable wool. Okay, so less Jackie Chan, more woolly chin. Now we can see why National Geographic are involved.
