Animated Jesus fuels millennium row

Should the turn of the millenium by celebrated with a Christian theme? It looks like the BBC thinks so, as they, and the film agency British Screen, are funding a Russian-produced animated film of the life of Jesus, to be released next year. The $10m production will use stop-motion puppetry and will feature Ralph Fiennes as the voice of Jesus. Presumably he won't be picking off the moneylenders with a rifle. Notable thesps involved include William Hurt, David Thewlis, Richard E Grant and Miranda Richardson. The puppets and sets will then be placed on display in the Dome. Which one will resemble Peter Mandelson?
