What about the bad? While Titanic and Good Will Hunting are out on the sauce this morning, others in the film biz are out flogging The Big Issue. 14 nominations for the ship and nine for Matt and Ben's feel-goodie, but Amistad's crying into its beer. Was it the lawsuit? Was it residue bad feeling over the Color Purple debacle? Was it just because it's not as good as Schindler's List? And where was James Brooks' nomination for As Good As It Gets? Still, what do we care. The Brit invasion gathers full steam with only Ms Hunt standing between one of our girls and the gong. Just one thing though chaps - was Greg Kinnear really better than Rupert Everett?
