Sigourney Weaver, appearing at the premiere of Alien Resurrection in the States in a see-through dress that was distinctly un-Ripley like, announced "Everyone keeps asking me whether there will be a fifth [Alien film]. I will go on as long as possible. I'm looking forward to the next 20." The makers of the current film got around the fact that the Ripley character died in the last one by introducing a cloning theme to Resurrection. If they're going to make another 20, they may have to do something similar to Weaver herself. And what about the aliens - can they draw a pension?
