Affleck’s in Town

Busy bee Ben Affleck was in London last night for the Premiere of the excellent Good Will Hunting. Quite frankly we're surprised he could find the time - but then he is in the Smoke at the moment filming the costumer Shakespeare in Love. Affleck's playing "the bombastic, raging, whoring, syphilitic actor, Ned Allyn." There's a part to get your teeth into. Also featuring are Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare), Geoffrey Rush and Ben's new pal Gwyneth Paltrow. As if that's not enough, he's faxing across the Atlantic to Matt Damon, discussing their next project Half Way House. It's about a home for the mentally impaired, but they've yet to decide on roles. Rumours are that Matt wants to play one of the residents
