It takes Wesley Snipes less than two minutes to start talking about rollercoasters. The actor is on something of a comeback after a troubled few years, and after starring alongside Eddie Murphy in 2019’s Dolemite Is My Name, he’s teaming back up with the actor for long-awaited sequel Coming 2 America. But beyond his moves in Hollywood, what Snipes really wants to do is head off on an epic rollercoaster tour with his son and daughter, trying out the wildest rides in the world, he tells the Empire Podcast.
Speaking to Empire’s Chris Hewitt, Snipes’ interview is something of a rollercoaster itself – talking about how he made sure he got involved in Prince Akeem’s comeback movie, his desire to work with Meryl Streep (“She’s an alien, by far – male or female – the top actress in America”), and the origin story behind the iconic kiss-off line in 1998’s Blade: “Some motherfuckers are always trying to ice-skate uphill.” Listen to the full, unpredictable conversation here:
