The nominations for this year's BAFTAs have been announced, with Guillermo Del Toro's The Shape Of Water leading the pack. The monster-romance appears in a dozen categories ahead of *Darkest Hour * and current awards season darling Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, which both rack up nine. Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk is just behind with eight, as is Blade Runner 2049. Denis Villeneuve's sequel is clearly being considered an artistic success, if not a box-office hit. There's still nothing for The Post though, following its similar snubbing by the Golden Globes.

After twelve years, the BAFTA ceremony this year will have a new presenter: Joanna Lumley is taking over from Stephen Fry. She'll be announcing the winners at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 18 February. The full list of nominations follows.
