Guitar Hero Review

One of the most funny, most captivating PS2 games ever published, Guitar Hero goes all the way to 11. Supplied with a replica Gibson guitar controller, this blistering rhythm-action game sees players strumming along to 30 rock classics by the likes of Black Sabbath, David Bowie, The Ramones and Queen. As well as hitting the guitar’s chunky buttons in time to the music, players can also wiggle a whammy bar to score extra points from sustained notes, and if you play like a pro you’ll accumulate score-doubling Star Power that’s unleashed by holding the guitar aloft like a true rock god. Hysterical and compelling, Guitar Hero is a video game anyone can enjoy, and is the closest most of us will ever come to music stardom. Rock on!
