How to find the best deals in the PlayStation Sale?

You can dive right into the wider Spring Sale section in the PlayStation store and scout the deals that grab your attention. But if you're feeling overwhelmed with choices and want to narrow your options, here are a few tips and tricks.

For starters, check out the other categories and collections. While there will be non-deals in here, focusing on a certain genre of game is bound to make finding something that suits your tastes easier. How about some racing or fighting games for those who like competition? If you want something replayable, check out the roguelikes. Or if you prefer narrative and story, look over the JRPG section.

Found something you think you'd like but are unsure if you want to buy it right now? Add it to your wish list, and you can easily find it again later. This is also super handy for tracking when something goes on sale even outside of big events, so it's always useful to keep at least a few interesting games on there.

Another thing to keep in mind is the different versions of games. The usually expensive deluxe version of a game might be more affordable during these sales, so it's worth considering if you want to get some bonuses. There are also PS4 versions of some PS5 games, and they may be a lower price depending on the sale, so keep an eye on them too.

What PS5 bundle deals are available?

The PlayStation store are currently offering a deal on a PS5 bundle as part of the PlayStation sale. The PS5 console and Astro Bot Bundle works out cheaper by about £110 than if you bought each item separately.

Other retailers are offering PS5 console deals on this Astro Bot bundle for the same price or similar.

Are the deals only for PlayStation Plus members?

PlayStation Plus members had early access to some of the sale items, but they are now live for everyone. You've still got plenty of time to grab all the deals, but if you like the sound of getting early access to sales it's worth it to subscribe, as members will likely continue to get these benefits in future.

There are three tiers to PlayStation Plus, but you only need to join the basic one to get online multiplayer in games and access to all the deals you could want. That said, the higher tiers do get access to expanded game catalogues and some exclusive trials, so there's still plenty of reason to consider them.
