They're not so young these days.

Christ, is that the time? It seems scarcely believable that this three-disc special marks the 25th anniversary of The Young Ones first bursting onto our screens.

A quarter of a century on, it is perhaps not surprising that some of the material, so fresh and genuinely shocking at the time, now seems a tad dated and tame. There is, however, still plenty here for old fans and new converts to enjoy, from Mayall and Edmondson’s terrible twosome through to Planer’s classic stoner hippy, Neil, and top musical acts of the day.
