Wonder Woman: Season 1

Like many ’70s series which have achieved cult status, Wonder Woman is one of those shows which you remember as being much better than it actually was. It’s hard to tell whether the over-stylised acting, ropey special effects and preposterous storylines were meant to be tongue-in-cheek or whether all concerned were deadly serious. However, there’s still plenty of escapist fun to be had from the original pilot episode and subsequent first series of the show — not least in trying to work out just how Lynda Carter managed to breathe in that costume.
