Supernatural: Season 3

Sure, it’s begging from, borrowing from and homaging everything in memory - The Twilight Zone, The X-Files, and enough John Carpenter to warrant a credit - but this McG-produced series remains watchable thanks to its surprising gore threshold and a now-well-developed comic touch. The Winchester brothers, Sam and Dean (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles), are now racing against time to get Dean out of his soul-binding contract with a powerful demon by looking for clues among individual paranormal ‘cases’. The most enjoyable season yet.
