Initially dismissed by some for being Girls but with boys, HBOs new dramedy has quickly built up a cult following of its own. It revolves around three friends in San Francisco, who all happen to be gay. The show explores their relationships and careers with extreme frankness and visual wit, thanks largely to regular director Andrew Haigh (Weekend).
