“It goes on for miles,” ponders Karl Pilkington, as he gazes at the Great Wall Of China, “but so does the M6…” Ricky Gervais’ podcast stooge, now given his own travel show, isn’t really an idiot, but an amiable cynic who’s happier eating Monster Munch than exploring the Amazon. The series is basically grumbling interspersed with picturesque aerial shots; fortunately, the more Pilkington suffers, the more entertaining it gets.
