Before he became Larry Sanders, Shandling made this deliciously snarky show, a deconstruction of the sit-com in which the hero keeps smashing the fourth wall. Its less warm even than Seinfeld, but this belated Season 1 release will delight fans (like Quentin Tarantino, who used to sit in the studio audience during his Video Archives days).
