Doctor Who: Complete Series 2 Review

Arguably the best Doctor Who since Tom Baker.

When the BBC’s veteran sci-fi franchise hired the largely unknown David Tennant to star, some worried that he couldn’t live up to the franchise-reviving efforts of predecessor Christopher Eccleston. Happily, Tennant’s impish take on the time-travelling Doctor proved a hit.

He had even better chemistry with assistant Rose (Billie Piper) although, in the grand Time Lord tradition, love takes a back seat to threats old and new, from clockwork robots in 17th century France to cat nurses of the future.
