Review
After Season 2’s bucolic interlude, The Walking Dead’s third year brings more action. An abandoned prison, a hostile township and some brutal culling of the cast ups the pace, and the dread. Danai Gurira debuts as urban samurai Michonne, while David Morrissey tortures his way to cult fandom as The Governor.

3 stars, seriously?!

3 stars Empire, what!? This deserves at least 4, not only is it one of the most horrific, realistic (if zombies existed) and downright cool zombie apocalypses ever put to screen, big or small but it’s a cracking drama to boot. This season was particularly good, up there with the best of current TV I recon. ... More
