Dexter: Season 6

Review
The escapades of Dexter Morgan continue to be one of TV’s dependable pleasures. This year takes a turn for the apocalyptic with two Bible-thumping sociopaths (Colin Hanks, Edward James Olmos) trying to usher in the end of days. There’s an interesting switcheroo halfway and a game-
altering climax, but this is not quite Dexter at his blood-splattered best.

RE: Extremely Underrated

L: carleslempner It was not as thrilling as previous seasons for me. I think that's because because of lazy writing and uninteresting characters. The season ending has an interesting cliffhanger, pefully since the writers are moving into their endgame, they can increase the quality of the show. Yet, this season was still entertaining, I think. Are they through? I hear there is going to be a season eight and maybe more after that, meaning at least two more, which is scary. ... More

No where near as bad as I'd read

Yes it's easily the weakest season. Odd moments of Saw-esque levels of gore and bizarre moments of ropey and unnecessary CGI (the snakes) feel slightly un-Dexter ish. But, the plotting is still enjoyable and the ending! holy fuck balls. ... More

RE: Extremely Underrated

This was the weakest season yet it has to be said. I personally think there should be a 3 season maximum on all series. All of the following started off brilliantly and as soon as season 3 finished - boom, it got shit!! 24 True Blood Sons of Anarchy and of course - Dexter! (although season 4 was pretty good) ... More
