The main innovation in Season 2 was that Rod Serling ceased being a disembodied voice and appeared onscreen to deliver the pithy, sinister introductions. On the menu for 1960-61... The Eye Of The Beholder (with the pig people), The Howling Man (the prisoner in the monastery), The Invaders (Agnes Moorehead and the tiny aliens). With: William Shatner, Robert Redford, many others. The ‘comedy’ episodes are disposable, the scary ones are gold.
