The Larry Sanders Show: The Complete Series

Review In ’92, Garry Shandling went ‘behind the scenes’ of a fake late-night talk show and created a comedy diamond; one of those ‘comedian’s comedian’ moments. The US edition of this set is packed with extras: feature-length doc, deleted scenes, 60-page booklet, interviews with cast and co-writer Judd Apatow, and ‘personal visits’ with guest stars. Curiously, all of these were pulled last-minute from the UK release; in this case you might want to go Region 1. Reviewed by Sam Toy

It isn't just the jokes which keep you interested, although I would contend that along with The Thick of It, it is the funniest show, the storylines are lovingly crafted and alway... | | | It's brilliant. buy it. | | remember bob martin? itv's pathetic show about a tv personality played by the then, still vaguely popular michael barrymore. well that piece of shit was 100% derivative of this excellent piece of american television, This show has some of americas greatest comedians and actors on it, it's sharp satire, touching and just fucking very funny, anyway buy it. ...
