Star Wars: Republic Commando
Review Judging by their bumbling performances in the classic Star Wars trilogy, stormtroopers aren’t fit for much except shutting the wrong blast doors and falling into traps set by teddy bears. But if this military adventure is anything to go by, the Clone Troopers were a force to be reckoned with before the Galactic Republic fell.
Commando lets players become leader of a squad of elite troops as they take part in covert missions behind enemy lines.
But while most military simulators require players to memorise dozens of controls, playing Commando is a cinch; most orders can be executed with the simple click of a button, making it easy to command your troops as you get stuck into alien-bashing.
It also features a glimpse of Episode III villain General Grievous and allows you to explore the Wookiee world of Kashyyyk, making it essential for Star Wars aficionados.
