Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Review
Following up one of the greatest games of all time was surely a daunting task, but the sickos behind Vice City have pulled it off with style. Shifting the cop-killing action from the East to West Coast, San Andreas finds a merciless thug returning to his hometown to avenge his mother’s murder.

This time there are three sprawling cities to explore — loosely based on Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco — with huge stretches of country in between littered with redneck villages and trailer parks. Best of all, though, you can now fully customise your hero, right down to his clothes, physique and garish bling.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Well, What Can I Say Apart From, Amazing, Spectacular And How In The Hell Did Rockstar Create Such An Amazing Video Game That's Even Better Than Vice City And GTA III Put Together. The Plot: You Play As Carl Johnson (CJ), Who Has Just Returned From (The Best City In The Whole GTA Series, Well Was Until This Came Out, I'll Explain Later) Liberty City, And Has Come Back To His Home-City, Los Santos (This Is Basically Rockstars Version Of Los Angeles... It's The ... More

Review Two of Two

This is a violent, brutal and disgustingly vulgar slashfest for people who like simulated crime and killing. Your character is a foulmouthed sex hound, and you will have killed up to as many people as you wish by the end. ... More

Review One of Two

This is an amazing, breathtaking, superbly realised game- scarily real. A giant urban scrawl crawling with inhabitants and so much land to explore, there's no way of deciding where to start. ... More

Best game on PS2, probably best single player game ever

Incorporates all the fun parts of games across all genres (RPG, driving, shooting, rhythm action, sports...) with attention to detail that'll leave you gasping every five minutes. Brilliant soundtrack, near flawless script, unsurpassed voice acting and an engrossing story (for a game) accompany you in a sprawling, living, breathing world that's your's to explore and will take you upwards of 50 hours to complete. And you can fly a Harrier jump jet. ... More

RE: San Andreas rocks!!

I haven't played it myself but I've seen my bro play through all of it, and some of the dialogue is hilarious. don't think it's as good as previous installments in the series, but it is funny. And James Woods and Samuel L Jackson lend their voices to the game, which is never a bad thing. ... More
