Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Review
Following on from the monumental gong-grabbing success of 2009’s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, super developer Naughty Dog returns to the limelight just in time for Christmas with an awe-inspiring ode to the Hollywood globetrotting blockbuster.

Drake’s Deception sees the sticky-fingered treasure hunter on the hunt for the Atlantis of the Sands, battling a clandestine organization and traversing one of the most hostile terrains known to man.

Fantastic combat, the series’ trademark witty banter and the best use of 3D this side of James Cameron’s Avatar mean that not only have you got one of the most technically brilliant games of 2011, but also the definitive PlayStation 3 title worth stuffing in your stocking this Christmas.

Does not live up to 2nd

This has to be one of the most ambitious titles I have ever played. The voice acting, visuals, and set pieces are truly remarkable. Once again it is like playing Indiana Jones if it were a console game. Where I feel it falls short is has to do with the gun play and plot line. My biggest problem is the gun play. It has never been the best part of the series but Drake's Deception, unlike Among Thieves, it really takes a step backward to the point that it almost ruins key moments in the game... More

Uncharted 3

The Heavily awaited game has finally arrived and if your a fan of the previous 2 like me ( amongst thieves and drakes fortune) this will surely not disappoint. Enjoy the beautifully created locations submerged with a realistic feel - e.g tripping on drugs - blurry vision, hallucinations. The fight scenes are similar to the previous two but you can disarm, throw back grenades even pull the pin whilst the enemy still occupies the device. Intriguing/challenging puzzles to be solved. In my... More

It's hit the fan again.......

This is one of the best PS3 games to date. I boasted to everyone about how great Part 2 was, as i was worried this wouldn't live up to my own expectations, and it has. I have yet to finish the game but still enjoyed every min of the game. I love running around every nook and cranny trying to find the hidden treasures scattered across each level, which is the reason im still not finished : ). I feel sad that once the game is over it'll be a long wait till we see Uncharted 4, but till then I am mo... More

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Simply gorgeous game. I was worried it couldn't possibly be better than Uncharted 2, but it is. The best of the PS3, and possibly the best game of the current generation in my opinion. The new and highly varied multiplayer even manages to successfully carry over the cinematic elements that make the single player so good. ... More
