Monsters, Inc. 3D
They still scare because they care

Plot
Sulley and Wazowski return for a 3D re-release that sees them bump in a little girl called Boo and unwittingly open a monster-shaped can of worms on Monstropolis.

Review
Monsters, Inc. 3D
Pixar’s record for 3D conversion remains flawless with this spiffied-up version of its 2001 hit. The adventures of Sulley and Mike Wazowski sparkle here, with the 3D highlighting details of their world and the action sequences giving extra zip. The story and characters, of course, needed no extra oomph.

Verdict
Another chance to see Pixar's most dazzling premise, now spruced up with a third dimension.

Average user rating for Monsters, Inc. 3D
Empire Star Rating

Bolsters Pixar's strengths, yet underlines its flaws.

While the 3D is nicely retrofitted to this timely re-release, it adds little, and the actual animation is starting to look a little dated. Athough the only reason that's even noticeable is because of Pixar's continuing high standards. This is still a fantastic movie, but maybe save the cinema visit for the sequel? ... More
