Electrick Children Heaving Las Vegas

Plot Mormon teen Rachel (Garner), a Mormon girl, discovers a rock music tape that her father (Zane) forbids her to listen to. She listens nonetheless and is overwhelmed. Discovering three months later that she is pregnant, she runs away to Las Vegas to track down the voice she believes has caused this immaculate conception. Review
Three months after falling for rock music, Mormon teen Rachel (Julia Garner) finds she’s pregnant and heads off to find the voice she believes caused her immaculate conception. Initially an obvious blend of rebellion and religion, this becomes as catchy as the tune which supposedly knocked her up.
Verdict An interesting and catchy take on a traditional tale of repressed teenage rebellion.
