Plot
Abducted travellers stumble across a twisted ex-surgeon. Under his capture, the victims are subjected to his experiment of building a human centipede.

Review
Yes — This film really is about what you’ve heard it’s about. A sinister European scientist (Dieter Lasar) sews two American tourists (Ashley C. Williams, Ashlynn Yennie) and a Japanese chap (Akihiro Kitamura) together mouth-to- anus to create the eponymous composite creature… and, inevitably, there’s a scene where the one in the lead can’t hold his bowels. However, once you get past the transhuman gross-out, this is a surprisingly conventional mad scientist movie. The innocents-abroad are menaced and abducted in the sort of crackpot research storyline which wouldn’t be any different if this were a 1945 movie starring Bela Lugosi about gorilla brain transplants. Tom Six’s film is odd and unforgettable, but never quite as outrageous as it threatens to be.

It's not shocking enough in execution (the operations could have been so stomach churning done well, but they are really quite tame). I was under the impression, from the backlash this film and it's impending sequel have received, that this was, for lack of a better term, "utterly gross", I did not find that, I just found it quite disturbing, more like 'Hard Candy' than a Rob Zombie movie. God awful!

Seriously an awful film. Not one moment that was scary, not one moment that I cared about anything. The acting and script are abysmal and it's not even shocking AT ALL if you have been on the internet more than a few times or seen other horror movies. Rubbish And Boring.

No way should this be given three stars, more like zero stars. It ain't scary, just sick and weirdly warped film that hasn't got a proper plot. Just a another movie out to shock the audience, yes there was some gruesome moments but I couldn't really feel anything for the characters. Even the ending is wrong. Avoid, watch a proper horror film that scares you wittless than seeing something that may make you reach the sick bucket or even better the stop button. ... More

Seriously, me and a friend from work are the only two people I know who enjoyed watching this! Dieter Laser is fantastically insane and so good at acting his part that he makes me forget i'm watching a film! I will agree however the girls are terrible actresses, I couldn't wait for them to shut up to be honest. Tom Six is a great director for not caring who gets offended and who doesn't like it and just going with his own original idea. And it is original. Nobodies ever done this before! ... More
