Plot
A King decides to wipe out his greatest power-rivals. He choses nine of his thirteen warriors to execute the mission, though jealousy breaks out in the ranks and cracks begin to show in theis family unit.


Review
Widely regarded as one of the finest films produced by the Shaw Brothers Studio, The Heroic Ones is director Chang Chehís epic account of rival-faction and fraternal in-fighting during the Tang Dynasty.

Centring on 13 warrior brothers - resulting in sparse character development - and occasionally uneven in pace, the film nonetheless delivers spectacular action and earns its rep as a must-have.
