This companion to Laika’s latest stop-motion spectacular is as rich and detailed as you’d expect from a team whose superpower appears to be extraordinary levels of patience. Forgoing the large-font-plus-pretty-stills approach of many tie-ins, this is so stuffed full of puppets, sets, artwork and quality prose that you’ll genuinely feel like you’ve learned something. From a book, as well! Astonishing.
