Man On Fire Tony Scott's dense, violent and vibrant kidnap thriller set in a crime-plagued Mexico City starring Denzel Washington.

Plot In the kidnapping hotbed of Mexico City, ex-marine John Creasy (Washington) is hired by industrialist Samuel Ramos (Anthony) to protect his family. When Ramos' young daughter Pita (Fanning) is snatched, Creasy sets forth on an unstoppable dervish of revenge. Verdict If the kidnap/revenge plot is over-familiar, Scott's filmmaking fireworks, the interplay between Washington and Fanning and some great action make this supremely entertaining. Denzel's Creasy may be morally greasy, but his exploits are explosive and exhilarating.
