Adaptation Another dose of surreal, inspired lunacy from Spike Jonze and Charlie Kaufman.

Plot Commissioned to adapt a non-fiction novel into a screenplay, screenwriter Charlie Kaufman ends up writing himself into the story with bizarre results. Verdict Like Malkovich, this is too surreal for all tastes; but an audacious, original experience for those attuned to the Jonze-Kaufman brand of filmmaking.
