Brighton Rock Vintage British gangster movie starring Richard Attenborough.

Plot An adaptation of Graham Greene’s classic novel, about a small-time Brighton hoodlum Pinkie, whose attempts to cover up a murder become ever more complicated. To silence one particular witness, the naïve and lovestruck Rose, he ensnares and marries her. Verdict It really needed a stronger director than John Boulting, but Brighton Rock perfectly embalms the seediness of its era.
